Just curious how long anyone else was sore after a core needle biopsy. I had mine last Thursday, and the places that were biopsied are still pretty darn tender to the touch! Not sure if this is normal or if it's because I'm approaching ovulation (that's when my lump was so swollen and tender and noticeable last month when this all first started).

I have two crazy little boys that love to snuggle up to momma, and I feel like I need a chest plate to defend myself!

this is something I'm worried about too. I have four of my own kids, and I work at a daycare. I plan to stay home the day of my biopsy, but I am going right back to work after. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to heal for you :) Did they use lanacain(sp?) for your numbing

They did use lidocaine to numb the areas beforehand, so that helped a lot, but I've just been super tender ever since that wore off
