blenders with glass carafes: any recommendations?

I'm looking to replace my tired blender and I'd like one with a glass carafe that can blender my daily smoothies (with ice and a frozen banana). Any recommendations? I'd heard good things about the Ninja brand but it looks like all their carafes are made with plastic carafes (which they say is BPA-free but still, I'd prefer to avoid plastic). My preference is not to spend a ton of money, so under $100 if possible or even less. FWIW, for the past few years I've been using an Oyster with a glass carafe that was on sale for about $35. I've been surprised how well it works. So I have a glass carafe if it can be used in another blender.

After I made my post I thought that perhaps three years of daily smoothies may have dulled the blade. So I just ordered a 6-point ice-crushing blade (an upgrade from my 4-point blade) for less than $10 with free shipping. Hopefully this will keep me in business awhile. But I'd still love suggestions for better, more powerful blenders, if anyone uses one they love. thanks!

@Peggy, your post caught my eye, I know it's a couple of weeks old, but I just got a blender that I love, so I wanted to tout it. You'll probably be surprised, I know I was, but it was a simple Waring bar blender. Two speeds, four blades, and makes smoothies out of frozen fruit, ice, bananas, everything, without a hiccup. I got it used, so I don't know how old it is or if it was made in the US (I doubt it would be anymore, if it was). On Amazon it looks like it only has 3.5-star reviews, but I would give mine 5 stars.
