Haiku for Fun

I am home to night
Trying to work out seeing
Both TV and Books
♢♢♢♢♢♢♢
Before surgery
Glasses taken off to read
Now I put them on.
♢♢♢♢♢♢♢♢
On the other hand
I open my eyes at night
And can see the clock.
♢♢♢♢♢♢♢
It's just weird. I bought a cheap pair of reading glasses from Big Lots. Cause I can't go for weeks without reading until they do he eye exam! So I'll stumble with this.
Much love to all. Everybody enjoy the Spring weather.
-
It's a festival !
Bluegrass music in NC
Stringing me along. ♥
-
Badger and bluegrass
Both in North Carolina?
Or only wishing?
-
Bluegrass in the hills.
Carolina memories.
Ever in my heart.
I'm the one on the left in the Badger red. ♥ -
When you hear music
Your mind reacts to Rythym
Your soul will now fly
-
Happy Mothers Day!
Thanks for your sacrifices
to raise the next gen. ♥
-
Grass is very green
Grass is growing very fast
Grass needs to be mowed!
Well, Spring is here. LOL
-
One soft summer night
We celebrate the Solstice.
Fireflies twinkle. ♥
-
Summer Solstice fire
In the sky, the ashes fly
As do our souls....
-
Independence Day.
Celebrate with flash and bang.
Fireflies confused.
-
Badger has a firefly theme going on!
-
Firefly stragglers
hover hopefully above
the late-night landscape.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tomboy, I love fireflies, one of the summer magicks of nature. ♥
I have been remiss
In letting my good friends know
That I am okay.
My mind's gone downhill
I'm off work, at least a year
To repair my brain.
Not sure how I feel
to see my diagnosis
written on paper
The doc says I have
A psychotic depression
Problem happening.
But I want my pals
To know that I still love them
And miss them daily.
It's okay guys, I just wanted to check in and let you know what was going on. I realize we tend to worry when someone drops out of sight like I did. I apologize for any worry I caused you ladies. I am alive and relatively well, except for the shadows in my mind. I am on facebook if you want to touch base.
-
Hey Red, safety first!
Take your name from post above
open to the world.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sisters can PM
weirdos on the web cannot
find you IRL.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Glad that you're OK
Hope the gloom is not too deep.
Visit us again! ♥
-
Done and done Badger,
thanks for the reminder hun.
Hope you all are well.
-
Glad to see our Red!
Even if things seem so dark
We are here for you
~~~~~♡~~~~~
Well, some of us post
Some of us seem to forget
But we forgive that
~~~~~♡~~~~~~
At least I hope so
Because I haven't done so
In the recent weeks
~~~~~♡~~~~~~
My DD2
just had a sweet little girl
Name Izzabella
~~~~~~♡~~~~~
I've been just lazy
Too much time on Facebook
Not on BCO!
LOL! Sorry! Here's my 2nd DGD
And the new family...
-
Tiny and precious
bundle of joy nestled in
loving family arms. ♥
-
Scar tissue is weird.
Appearing when it wants to.
Hope that's all it is!
-
I can't sleep tonight
Thank goodness for this website
Hope I find sleep soon
-
people come and go,
ebb and flow, currents in life
stream of consciousness
-
Scar tissue it is.
Say the MO and Surgeon.
No worry - for now!
~~~~~♡~~~~~
Sister in law, though,
Back in hospital again
F*ck! I hate cancer!
~~~~~~♡♡~~~~
Flying on Southwest
Colorado here I come
Nephew's wedding fun!
~♡~
Haven't flown in years
Packing all my medicine
Will be too funny!
~♡~
Getting in early
Take a quick tour of Rockies
Then road trip with Sis
~♡~
LOL. Looking forward To doing things I would have done before cancer and never given it a thought. But i haven't done anything for 3 years or more remotely like this. I've driven from NY to WI alone. Driven from Minnesota to Milwaukee with 2 kids, driven down to Chicago by myself. I've flown to Colorado to meet up with people I met online in a Discussion group. But was scared to travel to chicago last year. Haven't even gone to Madison but a few times in the last few years. However, just drove to Madison 3 mes last month to see my DD1 and new GD. So going to go on an adventure again! Road trip home through Montana to hopefully see my SIL and hoping she is well enough to see us
Much love
-
Attawoman Moon!
Do it now, don't postpone joy.
Rocky Mountain High. ♥
-
Sometimes it hits you
Realization comes then
She's done all she can.
~♡~
Can't take anymore
She's tired and in much pain
Chemo stopped working
~♡♡~
She's ten years younger
My DH's little sis
Lived a full, full life
~♡♡♡~
Ranger, Smoke Jumper
Nature interpreter too
Water Rights Control
~♡♡♡♡~
Daughter and Sister
In-law, Friend and Loving Aunt
Lover of all life
~♡♡♡♡♡~
Her cancer returned
The week I was diagnosed
But it was Stage 4
~♡♡♡♡♡♡~
Now she will rest more
And try to manage her pain
Knowing she is loved
~♡♡♡♡♡♡♡~
Was going to stop
In Helena, Montana
To see her next month.
~♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡~
After the wedding
Don't know if she'll have the strength
To hang on til then
~♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡~
Don't want her to go
Don't want her in pain either
Fuck, just Fuck cancer
-
The more we love them,
the more it hurts when they go.
I'm so sorry, Moon. ♥
-
Can't make a haiku
To express my sympathy
regarding your sis.
Recall - find your calm,
Move forward from this place now
love her forever.
-
Thank you. She's still hanging on. Sleeping very much.
Life is so precious
Gone in the blink of an eye
Only Memories
-
The fuzzy lemon
lived and died on her own terms.
I am sad today.
-
Haven't stopped crying
Knowing we have one less friend
On this earthen plane
~~~♡~~~
Fly free dear Fuzzy
Thank you for passing our way
Spread those wings and FLY
-
She stopped by the Rainbow Bridge
To pick up her friends
A completed hard journey
~~~♡~~~
For those left behind
We can only wonder now
If all her loves wait
~~~♡~~~
She's proven her strength to all
By her trials here
She is now free, but still loved
~~~♡~~~
RIP, God Bless, Goddess hold her tight.
My Sister-in-Law, Mary Rose, left us behind this morning as she slept and slipped away.
-
Badger and Moonflower, so very sorry for your losses. Gentle hugs to you both.
