anyone try this? It actually has a clinical study that showed it increased killer T cells in women with breast cancer.

I had an MD (not cancer related) recommend it.

Dear Camommy- I Started taking the Turkey Tail the minute I learned of my Triple Neg. BC just a month ago- Just had my consult with my Integrational OC last week; and she is taking it herself, and said she loves the research on it. She approved all my herbs I have been taking. So afraid of this horrifying journey, but just know will get through it. Nutrition is key as well.

    Good luck to you:)

although I am not doing alternative, wanted to input my experience with Turkey Tail. Fred Hutchinson in Seattle, Wa. Had a clinical trial which combined Turkey Tail tea with a vaccine. I wanted the vaccine, so I did the trial. The Turkey Tail tea (twice a day) kicked my immune system into OVERDRIVE. A simple mosquito bite becalmed an excruciating welt, horrid allergy to shell fish, a bee sting caused unbelieveable swelling and itching (not good for a bee keeper as I am). Although previously I had not had known allergies, this caused an immediate response so severe that the trial doctors told me to stop drinking the tea immediately.

So, therefore, in my instance, the "killer immune cells" were definitely activated.
