Change in Hair Whorls?

This is a bit random (especially for a first post), but haven't seen any posts on this before --
I have finally completed all of my cancer treatments and my hair has started to grow back. I have just noticed that I have double hair whorls (I did not even know that was possible), and my mom is sure that I had only one when I was a baby. I was just curious if anyone else's hair whorls have changed post-chemo...
There are apparently studies about hair whorls and how it relates to handedness and development

Is this the same as a cowlick ( hair sticks up won't lay flat, think Dennis the Menace. ) I have one of those and had so hoped it would not return after chemo, but unfortunately it did.

haha, not quite -- although we will see if it may become a cowlick once it gets longer. my whorls just look like this
