Flying after reconstruction question

I have not flown since I had my reconstruction. Will I need to have my implant ID serial numbers with me to go through security?

  You can carry the medical device card but you should have no issues.  I have flown countless times with expanders, implants, and a chemo port - never a problem.

  Yes, I've flown numerous times, implants, port and all with no problem. I do have my cards with me but have never needed to show them
