The itching started today, what do I use for it?
I'm a total radiation fail I swear. Nausea after day 2 and now intense itching after day 4. I can only imagine what I'll have by the end of this. I am on day 4/20.
What can I use for itching? I am using pure organic aloe gel (99.75% aloe) and aquaphor. I also cannot stand to wear a bra. My nipple hurts/itches like crazy. Thank go for camis!

Have you tried hydrocortisone cream? That should help with the itching. -
My RO gave me lidocaine gel. Was wonderful!!

I had horrible itching, complained about it, and was prescribed Mometasone, which is a prescription steroid. I started itching at 8/33, and the cream really helped! I had nipple pain but nothing much helped with that, unfortunately. I have 3 tx left, have ugly skin, but it isn't itchy!

Liquid benadryl works well too. Emla cream does as well.

Do ask to be seen tomorrow before your session. Your nurse or RO might have a favorite salve.

If the itching is on your skin, you've already been given great advice. If it's within the breast (I have that), it's from inflammation. I've been applying ice packs for that, which has been super helpful.

I was given a handful of sample creams, by rads so do ask them but thinking the above would work also
