Hi ladies! Although I would never wish this on anyone, it's comforting to see other mothers navigating this crazy ride. I am 35 with 3 under 3.

Sbeddows, I totally get what you say about toddlers. When I came home from my biopsy, my 2 year old daughter kissed the bandage and said, "Big boo boo, all better now?" It melted my heart!

The waiting is RIDICULOUS. I call this journey, "running to stand still." I just had a second opinion at a world class facility and it was the worst experience. Now, back to my home-town for more waiting. The BRCA results didn't come back when promised, I am still convinced that IDC is lurking and has spread to my left axillary lymph nodes (based on MRI), and the only answers that I get are that we won't really know that until after surgery (which hasn't even been scheduled yet). ARGH! I feel like I wouldn't have any hair to shave by the time I might get to chemo, because I will have pulled it all out in frustration. I keep coming back to, "Let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1

On a positive note, I have a 31 year old friend with a 9 month old daughter who is almost finished with chemo for triple negative cancer. The tumor cannot even be located now, the chemo has worked so well. Hurrah!

Just wanted to join in. Recently diagnosed with mets to all my bones. It was actually two spinal fractures (that my doctor missed for months!) that led to my diagnosis. 4 cm tumor in my right breast that I had no idea was growing there. So far Brain and organs all clear. I also have two young kids, ages 8 and 10. I started chemo last week and had a really hard time. Hoping the cancer cells are feeling as under attack as the rest of me is.

Bluefrog, Welcome to BCO. I'm so very sorry for the reason you have to be here. The ladies on the stage 4 threads are awesome, and can help with the feelings that come with a stage 4 diagnosis. You picked a great place for support. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you maneauver the BCO boards. I will help in any way I can. Gentle hugs to you!!
