..pssst...stage 3,10 years NED!
It's been a while since I have checked the boards or posted..to think when I was in active treatment I was pretty much on every day!
This month 10 years ago I began my journey. I am delighted to report a full , active life with still no evidence of disease.
I cherish each of the days I have been given as I know too well how many of my survivor friends have not been so fortunate. Too many feisty, lovely women are still fighting the good fight but their disease is somehow more aggressive...
I applaud those involved in research looking for ways to hone in on specific cancer types..trying to find the mechanisms to control and cure. It is a tough job , I hope with continued effort better solutions will be found.
A shout out to my 2005 online friends..especially the Rocktobergirls!
Fists up!
