Silicone Implant Problems

I am seven years out of reconstruction with silicone implants following bilateral mastectomy.

I was wondering if any other ladies out there have suffered from bone/ muscle pain and stiffness, fatigue, flu symptoms intermittent with no other medical explanations.

I was 36 when I was diagnosed but have felt like a ninety year old woman for the last few years, unable to plan my life with my kids in case I become too tired, I had more energy going through my 12 months of treatment and surgeries.

I had chemo and my ovaries removed too, but after blaming it on menopause and after effects of chemo for years I am now beginning to think that the implants may be a factor.

Any advice or tips greatly appreciated.

I had knee pains and started using Hylauric acid pills which have got rid of my knee pain completely. Found them online. I don't think mine was implant related, maybe tamoxifen or genetic for me.

Mariebw, are you on arimidex or a type of AI? It could be from that as well? Have they felt different lately? I take arimidex and my long bones and joints hurt, more so my knees and femur bones. Never had that before.. I am tired a lot but I think it's partly meds and partly I never sleep well anymore since all the surgeries and changes. When in doubt, get checked.. Hope you feel better!

hello, I'm just wondering if it's a norm for the radiation side to have ripples, loose skin and pockets to area? I have silicone implants, it's always been that way on that one side with pocket corner of under arm and breast. My oncsays it's normal but want to check. I have been working out more with upper body to lately.
