Honestly, although I know nothing about IBC except what I have read, that looks like a bug bite to me with a bit of sunburn up top. The only person who can tell you if you have IBC is a doctor. No one can tell from a photo as it presents many different ways and some women never even had the rash at all from what I have read. Call a doctor and get it looked at for peace of mind. I wish you the best!

Pictures are not allowed - if you don't remove it the Mods will.

No one here can tell you/diagnose what is going on with your skin - only a Dr who actually sees you can with scans/tests.

Remember that IBC is rare - onlonly between 1% - 5% of ALL diagnosed types of BC. It is aggressive and rapid in presentation (often literally overnight). Skin issues (bug bites, infections, etc.) are quite common though. The vast majority of those who come here with a 'red spot' turn out to be a skin issue. Of course 'anything' is possible so a Dr needs to be seen. Mammos and/or US are usually done before a biopsy.

No - it does not look at all like my IBC. Mine started with an enlarged lymph node under arm that literally presented overnight. In the 17 days from DX (a week after node enlarged) to starting neoadjuvant chemo chemo, the node continued to enlarge, breast enlarged, nipple inverted and peau d'orange developed. I never had any redness/rash, itchiness, pain or 'heat'. It has no ''set in stone' rules it has to follow with any (or all of us).

Your GP/Gyn would probably be the first to see but a Dermatologist might be a good referral to get.
