I read her book when I was first diagnosed. It became sort of a 'bible' for me. She will be missed by many.

What a horrible loss! My own BS trained with her, so I feel an even greater sense of gratitude for Dr. Kaelin's contribution to my own treatment. I am just now placing my order for her exercise book, as I am still developing my own exercise and activity regimen. I am truly in her debt, and need to discharge that debt in a very meaningful fashion.

Rainny, Thank you for bringing Dr. Carolyn Kaelin's story here. She was so ahead of her time. Paternalism and sexism was very rampant during that time(and all times previous). Her courage was very strong. Horrible that she then went through what she did. Horrible for us all too.
