Hormone suppression on top of my Ooph?

I have to do both? I thought the oopgh took care of the hormones. I feel confused now. I am 35, triple pos. Did TCHP now herceptin only. Mastectomy is done. What did I miss or am I having a stroke moment?

  thank you for replying. I get it now. Great information. My om while great jarred me at the last visit. I thought the oophorectomy did it all
