I just down, or up-loaded Windows 10!!! I got a notice, and said I could "upgrade"!!!!!!!! So I did.... the adventureous one that I am.... So far so GOOD!

And at the left bottom of the screen, "Cortana" is there.... and you can ask her questions.... And she ANSWERS! I tell you, she is better than my husband! She knows my name.... It's magic.... It's like Janie's phone! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Zills - I love tea. My "tea" cabinet is stuffed. I found some apple chai in there that has turned out to be great iced, think I didn't like it hot. My favorite only because I can get it locally is Yorkshire Gold. I did buy a giant "chest" of 150 or so bags on Amazon. Any good tea recommendations? LOL don't see me traveling to Ireland anytime soon so something that I could order on Amazon or maybe get at a gourmet store? I do have to make a trip to Dallas the end of September for DD (pick up from Love Field) and intend to hit any and every store I can in a few hours. Ft. Worth has some OK places but nuttin' like Big D has. My DH is cringing already.

Frey - That looks absolutely lovely - when it's not pouring rain. I had a fun time looking thru the map at all the "Key" names. DH and I made it to Key West on a cruise but only for a few hours.

Queenie - there isn't enough room to list everything. I never met a tea I wouldn't buy - well within reason. Just about any kind of chai - lately I've been buying Zhenna Gypsy. I have a lot of Stash teas, Double Bergamot Earl Grey and lots of fruity ones for iced stuff. Keep Constant Comment for winter use. I've been thru several boxes of Harney & Sons but it I think is more expensive than the Yorkshire Gold. I have a box of Yorkshire Tea (picked it up by mistake) but frankly the Yorkshire Gold is better (both Taylors of Harrogate which is a good brand too). I come and go with coffee, sometimes it's what I want in the morning and sometimes not. DH is working very early shift so he's not drinking it on work days and it's just too hot to make much of a pot. I say that but last week got up feeling punky/achy/headachy. I think is was restarting back on Femara after a 2 week break - ssshhh - don't tell my MO lol. And coffee was what I wanted and man-o-man it was great. I love to look thru the Amazon tea listings. My favorite late night tea is Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread Spice (herbal tea). It smells heavenly - only trouble is it's a holiday item. I'd looked for it for a couple of years and found it again at the health food store finally. I have 2 of those nylon basket things that drop into cup - anything that closes never holds enough tea for me. I never use the baskets. Teabag all the way. Though I did find some loose Assam in the cabinet. (Read that is what makes Irish tea unique). Hmmm.

Oh and I went thru a period Christmas 2014 of collecting hot choc. mixes. Just about thru all of them. TJ Maxx, Marshalls were a source for them. Even the gourmet stores around here had a mediocre supply.

Celestial Seasonings lemon ginger and sleepytime extra, Barry's irish, Twinings Prince of Wales (mild flavor), Lady Grey (less overwhelming than Earl Grey) Haven't tried the Scottish Breakfast yet but I like the Yorkshire Gold--that's what caught my eye in your post. But Ill keep that im mind about Assam being a key to the flavor of Irish Breakfast.

Marley - don't think I've seen Revolution Teas. We have the usual groceries, one high end mkt out of Austin (Central Market division of HEB), and what I can get at World Market or Sprouts. Whole Foods coming to Ft Worth next year and Fresh Market just opened. Ft Worth has become a restaurant mecca but not so much for gourmet food shopping. Hmm Revolution says available at World Mkt. Will have to look for the Earl Grey/lavender. Also on Amazon

Queenie - I did see the Barry's and Lyons listed as Irish teas. Haven't tried either. I have had P&G which I understand is standard lunchroom tea a la Liptons and also Typhoo. Not impressed with either. I usually make a 2 teabag large cup of hot water and makes 2 generous servings of iced tea.

DD was a big consumer of Tension Tamer in high school. She would get home late from UIL meets (writing, journalism) and want it NOW. Think she still has a box in her apartment.

I also recently bought at local grocer a box of Wissotsky Nana Mint Tea (I think nana mint is a variety?). Strong mint, I put a Liptons teabag in to cut the flavor just a bit.

Sassy, not heard of the Traditional Medicinals teas. Will have to look for them too.

Goats: I'm rather of the impression (having drunk it and PG) Barry's is "lunchroom" Irish Breakfast tea. Breakfastroom. Whatever. The sort of tea you get from someplace a step up from the greasy spoon diner set, but not a big one. Real tomatoes with the baked beans on toast.

Rose--I remember the cicadas from summers at my grandma's in PA, too. And thunderstorms, sitting on the porch swing, watching the lightning and fireflies, eating ice cream from Green's Dairy in York covered in peaches from the tree in Grandma's garden. Isn't it funny how a single sound can trigger a whole series of memories?

Susan--me, too on the sleepiness. I'm on day 5 today. Managed to take the trash out and then back in and then needed a nap. You should make sun tea...leave it out and when you come back from getting the ants out of your pants...voilà!

Spookie--no scuba gear, sorry. Just throw one end of your garden hose into the closest tree and you've got a long snorkel tube ready for the high water.

Marlana- love your memories! Me too! When ever anyone mentions fireflies I remember staying at my Great Grandmothers little 2 bed, one bath bungalow, white house with a big front porch. She had a victory garden and canned. She was Irish and gave me coffee and 1/2 milk in a tea cup! Very grown up I thought. SHe canned fabulous fruit that we enjoyed. When there were summer thunderstorms the curtains would blow and I would huddle next to Mamaw (my name for her) on the bed. There was that smell of ozone after the thunderstorms passed. She had lilacs and rose of sharon next to the windows. My brothers and I would catch fire flies in the garden at dusk and let them go in the bedroom. Wonderful memories falling asleep to twinkling bugs in a dark room and the sweet smell of the night air through the windows. My Great Grandmother lived in a tiny town in Southern Indiana. I didn't know it when I was little, but she was very poor and my Grandmother helped her with her heat and food every winter. She was wonderful to us as little kids. Funny I loved her house and visiting, except for the mohair couch which was scratchy! Little towns out in the middle of no where always have the best dang ice cream!

I think the Irish tea depends on where you grew up. Dublin is Lyons and it's even served at IKEA. Barry's is Cork. They have different strengths/varieties. Chemo turned me off of chai tea:( I like earl and lady grey. It's available at home in tea rooms. Also like green or green/black iced.

There's a big Irish contingent at home for the horses. Used to be able to get the tea at local stores. Getting harder to find. Order it online from ireland foods or stop at Jungle Jim's outside Cincinnati and stock up.

I'll have to look at tension tamer. Not a fan of hibiscus. Need to call it something other than tea and maybe my tastebuds would cooperate. Will be looking for something iced when I get home. Right now in the land where it's an abomination to have cold tea or cold potatoes.

DD in my bed again:( Going to be a really hard habit to break when we get home. It takes hours for me to fall back asleep. No sleepy time here.
