Brain mets
Again it's been awhile since I have been on this board. I was trying to update my treatments and I got confused. So much has happened. In the summer of 2014 I had 6 months stable and was able to take a break from chemo. It was very much welcomed. Since then I've had one proble after another, not all directly related to the cancer.
Most recentl, after finding out I have a paralyzed vocal cord, they did a head CT and found three lesions on my brain. My biggest fear of having stage IV. cancer has been the possibility of brain mets. Now it is a reality. I don't know what's next yet. I have to see my rad onco tomorrow. My regular onco put me on rex and that has helped with headaches. I admit this one freaks me out.
How long have any of you had brain mets and what treatment options have you used ?

Alice, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm currently waiting for results of a brain CT scan and found a lot of information on the thread below. Good luck with your rad Onc appt tomorrow. Wishing you the very best. Sending hugs.
