hello I am new to this.

I was recently diagnosed with fibroadenoma on June 22nd on July 29 where they did the biopsy I have been been feeling pain and the pain has spread to the sided my breast close to my arm pit. I was so worried that I went to the er they told me that the pain I could be feeling were the fibroadenoma enlarging do to hormones. Today I am noticing burning flashes around my armpit down my arm and around my nipple.... I have recently came down with a cold but, I am. Very worried/ scared has anyone experienced this before? My mother in law thinks I'm nuts because she was the one who did my ultra sound and she keeps telling me I am fine and that I'm working my self up

I'm sure your mother in law is just trying to keep you calm however you are the one feeling the pain/sensations. Not everyone understands. I am new to this forum also but after reading some of the posts this is where we should be. I've learned to keep some concerns to myself. I would call your surgeon and speak with the nurse or Dr. Are you due to go back to the office for follow up and results?. Pls keep me posted. I was diagnosed with a fibroidadenoma and surgeon said no biopsey needed even though I was diagnosed with ADH in right breast

Hello Andrea, we agree with tgoldens. Perhaps just follow up with your doctors, and not go into it too much with your mother in-law. Also, agree with her that we want to stay posted on things!

    Hi Andrea

I also had pain in the breast and the armpit after a biosy. It even came back several months later when a physio handled my back a bit roughly (no pillow under tummy). My other physio who has a lot of experience of bc topd me it's normal: wound healing inside the breast + lymphatic system evacuating debris.

I wouldn't have my in law do a u/s on me. Can't you see a non family member?

    Best wishes
