Mags, Happy anniversary. YAY another year. Love, holding fingertips

Marley, Trsj, and Loverly. How much fun is that So many languages. I loved being so goofy the other night, but I paid for it yesterday.
TresJ, glad you found us:) Sorry for the reason. Tell us about your son.
Marley CONGRATULATIOS, LAST CHEMO. hope the Hooha is better. Please, see a gyn doc if it isn't. The cider soaks not only draw, but it kills bad stuff too. A two for one treatment.
Smarrty, thanks I got it done. I downloaded a bunch of images. Today I'm Picasso's peace dove. Always loved that image. I used to change my avatar to whatever I was feeling that day. Then lost everything b/c of a virus. If you see Don Quixote that means I'm out on a mission to change something on the boards. A few times I got into trouble with that.
When do you leave for Ireland? I'm not going to send the package till you get home if it's too close now to you leaving.
Susan, you knit? can you post some things? Do you think Mom won't remember her keys are gone? There came a point that I had to take the keys from DH and the controlled substances. I wore a fanny pack. Had those things in it. Plus, my drivers license and a few credit cards and a little money. It was great to bug out to the hospital or go somewhere.
eEYORE yoohooooOOOO are you really leaving. Nope don't go.
-
Eyeore, that is what I call DH. The name fits him. Please don't leave!!
-
I've been telling you we've had rain!! Sas, read this. Is DS ok? There was a 48 mph wind gust over there at MacDill, and torrential rain.

-
Chevy, Morning. I PM'd Eeyore and asked her to come back and said I hoped she didn't leave b/c of something I said. I was sop boxing about peopleflying through. That's why I think she left. Maybe se will come back. That was her first post. Bummer.
Yes, wine flu all day. Fixed it today with a little mary jane.
Susan, I have this great new haircut. Looks great in the mirror. But in a selfie, not so good. I'll try and post, but if it looks bad. I will delete really fast. It makes the gray hair look good.
-
ChevyBoy, If you are functional and content with 8.1 i would wait til they offer you the upgrade. Yhey generally role it out slowly cause if everyone did it at once, their servers wouldn't function. If you dont hear from them in 3-5 months then pursue it . That also gives time for problems to surface and be fixed without impacting you. Windows 10 operates more like 7 or XP which were more user friendly. I worked in IT for 20 plus years and hubby works with previews of all window products. I have been a lurker for awhile and like you ladies.
-
Morning Spookie, I talked to DS a few minutes ago. Around him is lots of water, but the house is dry. I tried to make a plug for flood insurance. I hear hesitation on his part. Can't believe it.
-

For everybody.
Sassy,I leave on August 11. I'll be meeting up with Feelingfeline around August 16. Yeah, get to meet a BC sister!
-
I don't have flood insurance either. Tide surge will get me. Not gonna get it either.
-
helllooo Gypsy, glad to have you. Great if you have been lurking then you don't have to figure out the craziness. It's our normal.
Rosie, H sweetie, hope today is a good day. Soory

Patty, hoot if you can. We miss you.
Littlegoats, yes, we got into some shenanigans Friday night. All kinds of languaging going on.
-
CHEVY & Mommy & all,
Good Morning.....CHEVY, your too old to move cinder block ! Hire the neighbor kid, someone under 100....
Eyeore? someone yanking our chain..... One post, here. Ummmm, maybe Susan, she is a prankster....
Patty Pepper, are you busy with the boys, back to school shopping yet?
-
Morning Golfie, love seeing you here. Shoulder? House? Are you settled or still living out of boxes? Golf? DH?
Smarrty, great about meeting FF. What do you gals have planned? She's posted allot from the zoo.
Jazzy, give a jazz thread a try. Might surprise you.
-
I understand the need to drop off threads, sometimes for awhile, sometimes when folks need to just move on from this site. I am glad folks let us know vs. just disappearing with no word. Then we worry....
Wishing you the best Eyeore, and good health now and always!
-
sassy, were meeting at the National Stud Museum, outside of Dublin. We are going to the Dublin zoo because FF posted pics of baby elephants!
I'm going to keep the cat avatar for awhile. Always like this one
-
Geeze Smaarty. You don't have to leave the country to meet BCO sisters!!! There was a quilt show here last week, could come here, meet Sas and me. My DD went, this one really caught her eye.
-
Thank you so much Magdalene for the advice. I have a soda stream and have asked hubby to pick me up the lemonade. Bland foos is working for now so I am off my low carb diet at least until my taste improves.
Marla- I hope this last chemo time is good to you and you have plenty of good time between now and your R/O visit.
No rash thus far and day 5 post chemo. I hate the decadron though. Swimmy head but I guess it beats a rash. I do not want to jinx myself so shutin it now.
-
National Stud Mueseum ? Have no idea what that is....
-
Smarrty, I downloaded bunches of Chesire's. I'll just use another one when I get in that mood. You know THAT mood. The stud museum has to do with horses right?
-
(innocently) Stud museum? Isn't that concerning historical construction techniques?
-
yes, it's about horses. Too bad not the other kind of stud!
Spookie, I do plan on getting out your way, maybe next year. Still want to go to Universal. That quilt is great.
Here's a laugh for everyone. Haven't decided if I'm keeping them. Patty, what do you think? DH liked them, thought the color was ok. He thought the cost was a little high. If I keep them I'm going to put a claim in on my ins.
They're gone. Decided to send them back. Was bothering my skin. Oh well.
-
Smarty! Nice nockers! I like them too! You mean the whole thing, or the ..... are those Tattoos? Did you go see that what's his name? VINNY???? You don't have to remove the picture, do you? I wish MINE looked that good.... they are headed south.... but WTH? At my age, why not?
And THANKS Gypsy! I'll take your advice.... ! You know how it is.... I keep getting reminders from Windows, saying it is coming.... but you are right... I should wait till they get the bugs out!
And do you gals wash your new things before you wear them? I mean like your clothes AND sheets, etc? I just bought two cute little tops yesterday, hung them up, but they say maybe the dye could cause problems in SOME temperamental people? And SOME may include BUGS for God's sakes???
-
Looks very nice Smaarty. Tell hubby we said you are worth it. He may had just said that in a male type way to make sure you were not doing it for him but for you. Sounds strange but I know my hubby has said things one way when he really wants to make sure I am not going to do something just for him.
Still not sure if I am making sense. If he means it ..smack him.
-
That's a gorgeous and unique quilt Spookiesmom!
I never heard about bugs being in new clothes, but it does make sense. I guess I'll be washing before wearing in the future. I haven't even been doing that with my thrift shop clothes.
Does anyone else like thrift shopping?
-
I LOVE to thrift shop! But I don't do it as much anymore.... I used to "need" things, but not so much lately.... Ha! I found Ross! And Burlington.... And they usually have mark-down things.....
I just washed those tops? And I SHOULD have known, the yellow one would fade.... IT damn DID! So I had to rinse the other one a few more times! At least I won't wind up with yellow skin....
My "other" neighbor told me how nice everything looks out front! And said they KNOW how much work that is........ Really made me feel good.... I should finish it in the morning.... Unless I come up with something else I have to change... but so far I can see a light at the end of that tunnel..... The chicken people will be home later.... but they probably won't notice.... figures.
-
Chevy, not tattoos from Vinnie. Glue on like Patty showed us. I swim on Tues so that will be the test to see if I keep them. I don't worry about what DH thinks. My $$$ too!
I always wash new things.
-

Anybody hear from Rose or Patty
-
Nope
-
I hear from Patty almost every day. Did earlier today..
-
hi 2 What's up with Patty
-
Thanks 2TA. I've been worried about her. Like I said I snooped and she's not even playing word games. Tell her we love her over here.
Rosie I understand is probably busy, busy. Sassy, you and Spookie able to get together with her?
-
Smarty- I think the tats look good. Filing through insurance is a great idea. You do what makes you feel good.
