Dear God
You are always close by and holding our hands. I feel your comfort and know You are leading us down the path we are supposed to travel and that you already know.
Please bless my friends on BCO and my friends at my cAncer center. Please bless and guide our doctors and chemo nurses. They have a hard job but they are only human just like the rest of us.
Special prayers for those suffering and for people who have no one praying for them.
Please bless us and keep us. Have your face shine down upon us and give us peace.
Amen 🙏

Father, we come before you this evening and ask for your blessing, your mercy and your love. Please, Lord, have pity on all of us suffering from this dreadful disease. Free our hearts of fear that robs our heart of joy. I bring before you this evening all the women on this board who are suffering, who are scared, who are fighting so hard. Fill them with your compassion and give them peace.
You are all in my daily prayers, ladies. As I pray for you, please pray for me as well.
Have a restful night.

So strange that Diana chose the word forsaken. I just wanted to say that the Lord forgives us always, we cannot possibly always choose the proper words when we know a friend is suffering. I think of Jesus on the cross, even he said WTH in so many words, "My God, My God why have you forsaken me." God always forgives us, he loves us and he understands what is truly in our hearts. Empathy for our fellow man/woman is a good thing and is sometimes difficult to convey in writing. Anger is understandable at times. I believe that all of our sisters here on BCO understand this.
Diana, I love those TobyMac pictures that you are posting, keep them coming.

Lord you have taught me that faith as small as a mustard seed can grow into an amazing tree. Today I give you my little seed of faith. I place it firmly in the ground of your word. I water it with truth. The warmth of your amazing love will make it grow. Today I ask by faith that you would bring healing from this Metastatic Breast Cancer for all of us. We place our trust in you. May this seed sow healing into every area where the cancer has emerged. May the seeds of healing grow into a strong force, redeeming and restoring with great strength and power for all of us. This I pray in the name of your son Jesus.
Amen

Dear God
I find this thread brings me to a comfortable place. The prayers and honest devotion helps me find my joy and healing through this cAncer stuff. It is so hard to be sick. You heal me with hope and joy as I connect. We are vunerable. But You find us as we pray. Blessings for my friends doing cAncer. Here and far away. Your mercy sustains us. In the name of Jesus, our Lord and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit makes us new each day we are alive. Amen

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-4
I love this because it gives me hope that God is not done with me yet!
❤️ Y'all!

"And when my body is in the grave, don't think that I'll be there. I won't be dead but living, in the place Jesus went to prepare."
"and after all is said and done, know that my last earnest prayer is that my loved ones be ready, someday, to meet me there."
Blue highway--someday
This song keeps playing in my mind. I have a hard time telling people about Jesus. I don't like imposing my beliefs on others...so these last lines to the song get my point across.
Blessings to all you ladies! And your loved ones

KJones, That is beautiful. Thank you.

No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. I will be with you, just as I was with Moses. I will not leave you or forsake you. Joshua 1:5

This is how I feel about cAncer. My faith is greater then cAncer could ever be.

Dear Heavenly Father -
I want to thank you for giving me the courage to get through my treatment up to this point. Without my trust in You I'm not sure I could have endured the tough four months of chemo and the start to my long road of surgeries and radiation. I accept this path you have put me on and trust in you to take me through this journey. My life has been bumpy and I have not always honored my Faith. I pray that I can continue to find ways to open my heart to you and find comfort in your grace. In Your name I pray for these things and for all of my Sisters who are here tonight.
Amen

Mary, guide us in our major decisions and give us strength in times of trial so that we may, with humble courage, follow the hidden ways of heaven, keeping faith with God and mankind, so that we can bring the joyful message of Christ, the Savior, to the hearts and minds of all. Mary, guiding star of evangelization, be with us and be our protector. Amen.
