Anyone out there had DCIS (twice) and ILC on the opposite side?

Are there any ladies out there as "special" as my doctor says I am?

    Similar in that I have just been diagnosed a few weeks ago. I have ILC LHS and DCIS RHS, and now they have found another quadrant of DCIS RHS. So probably it occured over time but only just finding out about it all now. Wish were special in another way :)

    Hi. I was diagnosed with DCIS and a "micro invasion" on the left; my breast surgeon sent me for MRI and they found (after what I call my pincushion biopsy day) ILC on the right, and it had invaded 6 of the 16 nodes they took and tested. You can see from my signature that I'm nine plus years from dx and tx - no recurrence either side. Sending good thoughts!

    Yes, Nicevolve, special in a different way would be good! You have had some big news hit you recently, and for that I am sorry! If you haven't read jpsgirl96 post, right after yours...do so, it's very encouraging! We can beat this :-) Prayers your way!
