I was wondering if there is any correlation between right or left sided breast involvement and lymph node involvement. I know my tumor is small and low grade but I fear lymph node involvement!

    Are you asking if lymph node involvement is more likely if cancer is closer to lymphnodes (outer quadrants versus inner quadrants)? The whole breast drains into the same area. If you had sentinel lymph node mapping you remember how they injected many areas around the nipple and then the radioactive dye drains into one area. I have not seen anything about how the location of BC would affect the lymphnode metastasis but I have not looked.

    No. I am wondering if left sided breast cancer has a higher incidence of lymph node involvement.

    I doubt the BC location in left or right breast has anything to do with the likelihood of lymphnode metastasis. But it would be interesting to know if our dominant/non dominant hand has any effect on lymph node metastasis. Please post here if you find anything on this topic.
