Question about PT for rotator cuff

I have been having problems with my shoulder since a few months after my surgery. I am getting ready to start Physical Therapy for it and am wondering if there is any risk to that causing LE. Thankfully, I do not have LE currently and I would like to keep it that way! None of the PT's near me have any certification in LE, but since that is not what they are treating do you think it is 'ok' to see the regular PT's? I did see an OT for this a few months ago and have been doing the exercises she gave me, but ended up going to the Ortho since it is not getting better. When I stopped into the PT's office today to see if anyone there was familiar with it the one lady did say she did PT on her sister for rotator cuff issues and she had LE and did not have any problems from the PT. Thanks for any thoughts on this topic!

Mel, I had already developed lymphedema by the time I was treated for my frozen shoulder, but the plan for thedifference in how I was treated was basically that they were more gentle with my stretches and didn't try to get me better on such an aggressive time schedule. I was fortunate to also have le trained pts to work on my shoulder.

Thanks! That's good to know there wasn't a whole different plan. I hope your shoulder is doing better now.
