100%ER+/0%PR- HER2 - Idc what does this mean?

Just got my path report . It said I was 100%positive ER but my PR was negative at less than 1% also stated that was rare .

Does anyone know if this is a good thing or not.

HER2 was negative at 5%

Hope all are doing well with this roller coaster ride .

    Hi Canadiancampmama,

    I'm new on this board and I've just discovered your threat of last May. At my Dx I had exactly the same hormone scores, i.e. 100% ER, whereas 0% PR.

    My MO had told me that I shouldn't worry about the PR negative and congratulated me on the positivity of the estrogene receptor. Well, up to today I've stil been unsure about if the PR neg. really is that unimportant. I've often searched the Net to get information but without success so far.
