Fat grafting / nipple reconstruction recovery time

good evening ladies

I had a planned trip to London & Paris w/ my daughter prior to being dx'ed. I'll be completing the final surgery in September after my kids go back to school. My PS will be doing fat grafting (lipo) and nipple recon (w/ abdominal skin / tummy tuck) and I'm looking to see if anyone has had the same procedure to give me an approximate recovery time. The time btwn the surgery and trip is 10 weeks ~ would this seem to be a sufficient amount of time?

    Should be plenty of time!  I had the nipple reconstruction and fat grafting as separate surgeries, but nipple reconstruction should give you minimal discomfort.  I went back to work after 4 weeks from the abdominal liposuction for fat grafting, but was probably 6 weeks before I really felt fully recovered.  Did Paris and London trip in 2014 and had great experience, enjoy your trip!

    I had fat grafting to fill in some divots and to help create a bit more symmetry and nipple reconstruction last Tuesday. I will be returning to work on Monday so I will have 2 weeks off. I should be fine as I already feel so much better today than the beginning off the week. Have an amazing trip.
