Mom in pain.

My mother is in almost constant pain.  Yesterday she tried to go to church, but the pain was so bad that she had to go back into the house. 

She has tried patches and numerous different kinds of medications and nothing seems to be working. 

I hate seeing her like this.  I asked about a pain pump, but they are unwilling to give her one unless she is on hospice.  Is that the norm?

The oral medications are not working well at all.  I will take any recommendations you have.  My heart is breaking, I just want to help her.
