I am 4 weeks post bilateral mastectomy. I have so much tightness in my chest it seems unbearable. I had a fill in surgery then two additional ones. I am done with the fills. Thank goodness. I feel like I can't get a deep breath at all and have horrible tightness in my chest. When will this get better or will it always be this tight?

How much were your TE fills?  Tightness should get better with time, but if they put a lot of fluid in quickly that could be the problem.

they filled me during surgery then I've have two 60 mls of fluid each fill. I feel like I'm wearing a super tight bra. Worst tightness ever.

Hang in there! It's just awful, isn't it? I have heard it referred to as wearing an iron bra and that is exactly how I felt for months. For me, it had little to do with the fills--it was constant and I was going crazy. I kept reading that it would be much better after the exchange. And it was, but not right away. I was devastated to wake up and STILL feel so tight! But after about three months it finally happened--utter relief. Gentle yoga really helped
