thanks , jilly... Its the redux/lift that worries me, and the BS going in on the right before the exchange to"scrape", because I had <1mm margin anteriorly. The mx wasnt too bad, altho i had a bleed with the drain, lost 3pts in an hour. Not fun. Passed outcold, trip to the ER. So I am just having anticipatory anxiety. That can't happen twice, right? Besides, no ice storms in July. ;)

    Hugs to All!

    Arlene -

I was a big floppy D. I downsized so had the anchor incisions with the lift. I have posted pictures in the picture forums under the same name.

My problems were mainly from the anesthesia...wiped-out from the 6 hour surgery. They irrigated with some sort of long-acting anesthetic during the surgery so pain was never an issue...I did not take any narcotics after 12 hours post-op. Maybe you could ask about that?

wow, jilly, 6 hours! I didn't think it would be that long. I think I must have had the same irrigation with the mx because I didn't feel much pain til the 3rd day after my drain issue. I have to see if I can remember how to get to the picture forum when I get home from work. My brain is fried. Lol. Thank you for the advice!

    Love

    Arlene

Robin and Arlene - The exchange will be nothing like the MX and TE.  Please do not psych yourself out about this.  Just focus on the fact that you are going to finally be on the squishy side.  It really is a breeze compared to what you've been through.

Robin - Good luck in surgery.  I will be in your pocket.  Hope you have a quick and uneventful recovery and your new "girls"  are  all you wanted.  Warm hugs!!!

Arlene - I'm having my revision at NYU in August.  You have to let me know how the staff is there.

Thank you for the encouragement! I have had all Good experiences at NYU. No complaints at all. I chose to go there over local docs and hospitals, and am so glad I did.

Robin, I will be thinking of you, and am in your pocket. Good Luck tomorrow, and a speedy uneventful recovery!

    Hugs

Hi Ladies, Thank you for all the good wishes Smile

You are right! This surgery was a breeze in comparison.

I am so happy to have those TEs removed! I know they served a purpose but they were so hard and I was aware of them all the time.

The implants are so nice and soft!!! I am so grateful!

The pain is very manageable! Our bodies and minds really have gone through so much!

    You ladies continue to be my heroes! Sending Soft {{Hugs}}

I'm praying for good outcomes for everyone!Smile

    Love Robin

Good to hear from you, Robin! Happy for you that it all went well. And a little jealous that you already got rid of TEs.

I can't wait for you to get rid of your TEs.

You will feel so much better! These soft boobs, dare I say are almost as good as the originals!

To have the softness is just wonderful!

robin - Welcome to the squishy side!!!  Glad all went well.  Once Arlene is done, the NY gals will have to get together.  That would be so much fun to meet everyone face to face.

    Robin -

So glad to hear all is well!

What kind of implant did you get? I need a revision in the fall - can't stand these sponge-bob, frozen in place, anatomical gummies. And they're hard!

I traveled to NYC for all my PS appointments. It's a train ride, about 3 hrs. My next day to be in town is September for a followup

JustAJenn, Can't you come to the city sooner?

Maybe we can actually do this end of July or beginning of August if we can get Justajean and Jean to come down.  If not it will have to wait until September because Audrey is having surgery middle of August (I'm assuming she would like to join us) and I'm end of August.  Yes, Arlene, you will be better by then.

Jilly, can you come from PA??

Rak - do you have a specific place in mind??  Anyone else have any thoughts??

I do get around a lot....lol.  I just kept joining the next month's thread thinking my surgery would actually happen.  Unfortunately, cataracts threw a wrench in those plans so boobies 3.0 had to be put off.  Now I'm just waiting for the August surgery sisters thread to start.  But it's been great to meet all the new surgery sisters that are at the point I was a year and a half ago to offer any advice I can and cheer them along in their journeys.

I'm upstate about a 2 1/2 hour drive. My next nyc appts are 7/21 and 8/3. The 21st is a very full day of appts. On the 3rd I will probably be done by mid afternoon if the infusion goes well. I could meet you all anyplace near midtown. Love, Jean
