recommended oncologist Dr

I live in the washington DC area and I wanted to see if anyone would recommend me to a medical oncologist newly diagnosed with stage 2 breast ca an oncologist from Georgetown university hospital which is close to where I live I am young in my 40's this is a hard diagnosis and I am happy we have a place to support each other please help if you have a great oncologist you can refer from Georgetown hospital

any recommendations will be well appreciated

I used Dr. Mary Wilkinson but she is in Fairfax. She is very experienced. I had neoadjuvant chemo and had a complete pathogic response. Your surgeon should be able to recommend someone good.

Not at Georgetown hospital but if you need a 2nd opinion I followed Dr. Rebecca Kaltman around through a number of different practices in the DC metro area and really liked her - knowledgeable, personable and caring, and spent time with me. She has moved on and now does mainly consultations - see link below.

Hi I've been pleased Dr. Karen L. Smith with Sibley Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins. The way they coordinate care is extraordinary. Dr. Smith is very warm and has a research focus on survivorship, which I like.
