LOL. You are one tough broad ruthbru. You didn't know you were doing all that. hahahahahahahaha.
-
hahaha you ARE tough ruthbru! Can I have some of your vitamins?
3 mile walk. I'm gonna jog some of that tomorrow!
-
Ruth be careful the U.S. Olympic mountain climbing team may be knocking on your door Badger I haven't even thought about packing, I'm trying to get everything at work completed ready to go on vacation. Meijo we had really weird weather yesterday too, it was so humid but we didn't get rain just spots of water so now the clean car is dirty.
Did Sh'bam this morning.
-
Dunesleeper, glad you found your fitbit. Ruth, I want yours! Lilac, hope you are done with the trots. Ugh. Sweet, great news. Meljo, keeping fingers crossed for you.
Zumba (with a new teacher) was still a bit too much jumping for my neck. Going for a bike ride today.
-
Thank goodness, my Fitbit is starting at zero this morning....yesterday was exhausting .......although, since I was eating like I had, it would have been nice to have actually burned off all those phantom calories!!!
-
I am finally seeing results from all the cycling
My weight was creeping up, and now it's headed back where it should be. About 5 lb up and now back down 3. Or perhaps my body is getting used to having some estrogen again. But doubling the weekly miles cycling has to have a good effect. I'll take it.Not a Fitbit, but I got my bicycle odometer readjusted so now know how far I go and how fast. I messed up the alignment, and the guy at the bike shop fixed it for free! Yay. I did a walk last night as had to get out an email blast.
I think I will do a 44 mile ride in Shelton WA on Saturday. I haven't been to that area of the state, and the route boasts 2 lakes. I think I am well enough trained for the Seattle-to-Portland, but this extra training will make it much easier.
Learned last night that I have quite the reputation in this building as the "woman on the go". This from neighbors who were returning with bicycles. They are also fit and healthy. Anyway, they described me as "always headed out somewhere".
Looking forward to Saturday's adventure..... 100 miles of driving each way so really a new place. Should be great fun. - Claire
-
Cheryl, thanks so much and you know exactly what I'm going through. S&S, good news indeed. Meljo, I love that ...your not a weenie Littleblue...sending good vibes for your results. Ruth, are you cheating with your fitbit? HeidiHill, have you tried aqua zumba? Claire you are always on the go - those neighbors got it right!
I'm so tired and feel ishy and headachey from 7 days of on the trots! My surgery/Dr.'s office is closed today for training-great. Just gagged down a sachet of electrolyte powder in water. I'm going to chill. Did get to pink pilates earlier this morning and should go practice at the gym; self-care has won out.
-
Took the day off from excercise as yesterday I went strawberry picking!
-
Mommy, that is wonderful exercise!!! And a delicious treat afterwards!
Walking and walking today!!!
-
Cardio Sculpt, a noon yoga class, walked the dog (and am showing a more believable 12,000 step on the fitbit). Since I leave at 7am tomorrow morning, I guess I better make myself pack (I am THE worst packer in the world!). Excited to be seeing some of you SOON!!!!!
-
15 minute walk and nearly two hours pushing a lawnmower. My fitbit tells me I'm over 15000 steps
-
Ruth, I'm with ya! Packing tonight. Laundry's going & brought some work home. Anticipating a busy 2moro.
Walked after sunset last night, lovely balmy evening. Raining today so walked around the bldg at lunchtime and also at Cabela's after work (needed parts for my Camelbak). Logged 5.35 miles since last post.
Safe travels all and see some of you very soon!! ♥
-
Exercise yesterday was running errands to get ready for my trip. Tonight I went to bootcamp before coming home to work on last minute laundry. Will pack tomorrow night then off on vacation starting Saturday. I am sorry that I can't join you ladies this time but hope you have a blast! Safe travels all.

California Dreaming Ladies: Have fun and post pictures!
LB: Hope you start feeling better soon.
Great news Sweet!
Hi All! Today I push mowed for almost 1 1/2 hours. Then I went to the park to fast walk. Decided not to run tonight because my foot has been giving me problems. Walking went well.
-
Body Jam class tonight now I have to do laundry and pack, California Dreaming here we come
-
California Dreaming ladies- have fun and post pics if you can. Super jealous!
Ugh!
I slipped at on some water at work today as I was presenting in front of an assembly of all the pre-k to 3rd grade students, staff and all the 3rd grade parents. One of those where it looks like you slipped on a banana peel and jerk your body but don't actually fall moments. Ridiculous!!
I hurt my quad muscle and it felt like I had a knife in my thigh. I finished my presentation standing on one leg and then headed to the ER. Now I am on crutches and have muscle relaxers and pain meds. I am so frustrated that after exercising faithfully all winter I am not going to be able to run anytime soon. Although right now I would settle for being able to walk. The last week of school is a terrible time to be laid up...too much to do!
OK...rant is over.
-
Ouch Ginger! That is rotten! I'm sitting in the Denver airport drinking a mocha coffee, but feeling semi-virtuous since I had them leave off the whipped cream and ordered a bran muffin with raisins. Of course we will post pictures!
-
Ginger, sorry to hear about the 'almost' fall. It's even more embarrassing when you hit the ground like I do on a regular basis--so uncoordinated
Hope your injury heals quickly! Ruth, I wonder what you were doing in your sleep to generate all those extra steps.... hmmm...
Badger, I pack like you. It takes days sometimes.
No MRI results yet.
Yesterday, I managed 14,426 steps and 42 flights of stairs just helping my son move the last of his stuff. I was exhausted without doing any 'real' exercise.
You girls on the CA trip, enjoy the sunshine, wine, girl talk, and relaxation!
-
Dunesleeper, glad you found your fitbit. I was lost without mine..lol
California Dreaming, have fun, fun, fun, relax and post those pics. Can't wait until next year!
Welcome Bippy!
-
Hello, everyone. Today is day 14 after my Lx. I can't tell you how good it felt to move on to phase 2 of my post op exercises! I can finally move my arm above my shoulder. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. It felt so good to clean the house. Hahahaha. I don't think I have ever said that before. I am anxious to be able to lift more than 5 pounds with my affected arm so that I can do even more. In the meantime I am going for 3 mile walks almost every day. (Just too darn hot and humid here today).
-
Get well soon Ginger.
It was too hot to do anything here today. We did have the little guy, so I got some movement in, but really hardly any at all. I must have sat and let him do the running around the house. My counts are just too pathetic to post. I will go to the gym tomorrow, though, so I'll be able to report then.
-
Ginger!!! I hope you feel better soon!!!
Safe flights and travel, California Dreaming Girls!!
Took a long walk, today and then played with my granddaughter!!!
-
Hello all, Did a 30 minute walk around the lake today again. It was stifling here, so I kept it slow and steady. Have a happy, restful (and healing) weekend!
-
Sh'bam with Cheryl....now looking for the hotel and food!

-
You both look marvelous!!!
-
Okay, who's in the picture? Left to right, please.
-
Cheryl, the teacher of the class, Ruth.
-
San Diego

-
Hi Sailorbev! Glad your surgery is behind you. Take it easy!
Beautiful picture Ruth! Tell everyone HELLO for me.
Ginger: So sorry that happened to you. What frustration you must be experiencing.
Just returned from a late, hot, humid fast walk.
-
The rest of the flying ladies arrive!
