After 18 months of growing fat necrosis lumps on my scar line and above, my insurance and ps has agreed to taking them about. We biopsied two of them, I've had 2 ultrasounds, 1 mammo and an ultrasound, so we should be in the clear. Still the thought of going through another procedure makes me anxious. Can any one tell me how are the days after a wide excision and give me some advice? I went through this procedure blind the first time (breast reduction) and it was a disaster so really want to make sure I'll do better this time. Any advice of recovering from anasthesia?

Many thanks,
Alicki

Alicki - Prior to PBM, I had a wide excision during which multiple masses were removed. It was day surgery, and I went back to work the next day. I didn't have any problems with anesthesia. I currently have multiple masses which are being monitored. I've had imaging and a couple biopsies and nothing sinister has been detected. My BS has offered to remove them, but I've had enough surgery. Going to carry on with the monitoring for now and hope they continue to look stable. Hope your surgery goes well. Take care xoxo

    Hi ladies

SJ. I can't believe that you are still having problems after the PMX! HOPE everything will be ok. I hope next THursday will mark the end of the painful situation and I can go back to normal monitoring.

    Laura: thanks, how are you?

    Update:

One day to go until surgery, feeling anxious and nervous, but it's the last step in a very long story of breast problems, wish we luck. I just want someone to hold my hand now.
