June 2015 Starting Chemo

Hello not sure if this thread has been started yet, I searched but did not see it so I thought lets get this started. I get my port placed this morning, looking at starting late next week or first few days of June. I will be getting A-CT, radiation and then surgery with recon. I meet with the oncologist later this afternoon to confirm final plan since my node biopsy came back positive this past Tuesday. I am not going to even pretend this has not been a sucky week but it is what it is and I can only take the facts and go in fighting knowing I have the most appropriate treatment.

    hi Leo 1975, diagnosed May 1st with IDC 1.7cm and ILC 0.9 cm R breast ..had BMX 06.11.15 followed by r axillary clearance because of positive node...had port put in on Friday and I am due to start chemo 06.16.15 here in Qld Australia.... Going for AC then T ...... Have been reading all I can on these discussion boards since diagnosis .... Having a plan from onc has helped in the horror of the last four weeks .... It really helps to know that we are not fighting this alone ......have you started your chemo yet?
