Seeking 2nd opinion in Orlando, FL
Recently diagnosed as Stage 2, (triple negative), and would like to get a 2nd opinion on treatment options. I would like to find a multidisciplinary group that can review my results other than UF Cancer Center, formerly MD Andeson Cancer Center. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions regarding an Oncology group in metro Orlando?

Smith789 you may want to contact the Cancer Information Service (part of the NCI) 1-800-4-CANCER, as they have a list of treatment centers.

The ladies who posted on this linked thread may be able to help you. Also, Moffitt Cancer Center, here in Tampa, is the only NCI designated cancer center in the state of FL. Might be worth a drive to see what they recommend, and then you may be able to implement their recommendations locally.

I, too... was just diagnosed in Orlando, but I live up near Ocala. UF Shands in Gainesville is closer, but I am considering Moffitt. I don't know what to even look for to find out if one would be preferable over the other.
