of course it's the weekend. My site has been so itchy and just noticed a slight blister under the strip things. I have an appointment tomorrow...is a blister normal?

I had an ultrasound guided biopsy Friday. Lots of numbing stuff.

Thanks

The strips make me itch & blister like that too. Call your doc & ask what to do since it's still too soon to take them off. I just put up with it until my follow up, but mine did that after my stereotactic. I told them when I had the excisional that I was allergic to them so they glued me instead

I feel like it's my fault...I forgot to note for the one millionth time I'm allergic to adhesives.

I'm not sure how this is not in the system...I've been to this place multiple times in the last two months.

I went in for an MRI marker placement for a difficult spot they could not get to biopsy...long and short a brilliant doctor was able to get biopsy over placement and surgery...because I was not thinking and things changed I forgot to stresses I'm allergic to adhesives. Will get results Monday. My other strips from. Surgical biopsy a few weeks back I were ok. I go intomorrow ahhhhhhhhhhh it's so itchy

I agree-it was miserable, the itch & sting. I have actually read that with the steri-strips it is less the adhesive that is the issue but the traction, pull & shear on the delicate skin. That may well be the case, because they didn't bother me much on my lower belly. Doesn't matter what it is because I looked like I had a serious burn by the time they came off.

oh I think I know how you feel. Prior to surgery I told all hospital staff a million times that I am a type 1 Diabetic. I outlined point by point the special attention needed. A million times they say they got it. A million times in the day of surgery , they don't got it. Forget the cancer, my diabetes would have killed me first if I wasn't alert and competent the minute before they wheeled me into the OR. I was completely disgusted
