Question about Dr. Ansanelli in NY
Hi everyone,
Why does it seem like some of the endorsements for Dr. Ansanelli on this site are planted/ads? Am I reading into this incorrectly? There do seem to be a couple of credible endorsements for him, but that is all. Also, I cannot find any other doctors who perform laser breast surgery. Can anyone provide me with more information or give me some insight? I have a phone consultation with him today.
Thank you, Kat

Kat,
I assure you there are no planted ads here for Dr.A.?? His surgery is truly remarkable.
I've spoken to most who have used him (on this site) and many others and it is all positive.
I also found NO other surgeons utilizing laser surgery for BC. I don't get it. He was the only surgeon i consulted willing to attempt a partial mast or lump for me and he was successful.
PM me if you have more questions.

Laser surgery is presently in clinical trial. Since you are in NY, you might want to contact Columbia Presbyterian....they are enrolling subjects.

VR,
This is nothing like the current laser surgery (vis Dr. A) is done. Mine was similar to traditional surgery minus the knife. all cutting and ablation done with the laser. The advantages are the same as the trial laser My tumor was too big to qualify for this type of surgery. Amazing that they can kill the cancer cells before removing the lump. This may be a revolution in cancer surgery (for all cancers) giving woman a better option and final result.
You are on top of everything...........do you miss much in cancer research?

I am anxious to read the article but too exhausted after 2 full days of scans and studies. Maureen--thanks for validating Dr. A. I did speak to him on the phone and that was very positive. One of my issues is distance--I live in Mexico and the storms back east have been awful. The weather and the risk of flight cancellations may be a major deciding factor, unfortunately.
Thank you, Kat

Hi Maureen
I am wondering if you could speak more about Dr A. I have a consult with him on 6/3. I have had no diagnosis, but have a sizeable mass and have finally made peace that it won't change with natural care. Dealing with a lot of fear of 'what if' but so thankful I found out about Dr A, yet wondering 'is it too good to be true'
Thank you in advance for your kind reply

Hi Gaia,
Hope this finds you well. I would like to ask you if you ended up having the laser surgery last year?
