Saw a news story this am about breast cancer fund raising organizations that are fraudulent. I think one was Breast Cancer Society, so I am glad this is not that, otherwise, I think are link might be gone. What slobs those people are? So lazy, and narcissitic they have to steal! -
Kath, they would never find this website on as any fraudulent organization......
This website is run by a Dr. who works in Oncology at a hospital 25 minutes from where I live.....she is a well know Oncologist named Marissa Weiss....and if my memory serves me right she herself had BC.........
This is a very safe and respected place for BC women to go, and it is known all over the country and around the world........
LOL....if I read your post wrong "forgive me"......my brain is scrambled right now, but honestly feel safe here..........it is place of " peace" when we can't cope......love you ladies......and Marissa Weiss for having this available to me when I encountered one of the darkest days of my life...............
-
Ducky, thinking of you, and your family
-
thanks Kath.....your a wonderful friend.........you and slow are the best..........
-

Blondie,
Maybe I got the name wrong - that's what bad organizations do - they choose a name close to a good thing to confuse us. I am glad to hear that resource is there for you. I have never really asked for help.......until now. I was a pull yourself by your own boot strap person. It still is a challenge to accept help. But I realize it is a gift from God to give as much as it is a gift from God to allow someone else the good heart and grace by receiving something.
-
Yea Kath.........me too, but I am trying to be more thankful there is help out there
-
Blondie, I live in the Kansas City area and have never heard of this organization. Can you please direct me to a website perhaps, or give me an address? Thanks.
-

Where is Firecracker?
Looking forward to a long weekend. Had a head cold this week and too much drama in the fam.
Top it off, I could not find my glasses this morning, so drove to work blind, as close as blind as you can get. Pretty sure there is another pair in my desk somewhere.
I'd like to know, is anyone else as organized as I am? I am not a control freak, but I am aspiring to have that quality................... so, hopefully when I shovel through the laundry, and debris in my house, my glasses will turn up?
Have a great weekend everyone, do wild things and report back on Tuesday!
-
Kath... I can never find my glasses.. Mine are reading glasses , but I need to put them on and off all day for different things...sometimes I have been frantically looking for them for half and hour only to find they've been sitting on top of my head the whole time. !! HaHa..
-
Sent FK a PM...........never heard back.........
