nipple dryness, sore small amount discharge

I had a lumpectomy in Jan 2015, followed with 21 radiation treatments ending in March 2015.  recently my nipple has become very dry and flakey, sore and sometimes there is la light clear discharge, usually after a long day of wearing a bra...anyone else experience any thing like this

    Hi MySunshine, I just came across your post. I haven,t been on this site for some time. Yes i have experienced those effects. I won,t say to much right now as you are what, about 4 months out from your rad treatment? and I,m not sure of your situation as in how often your are seeing your care team such as MD., Rad Onc etc. I can tell you that I would be bringing these concerns to your care teams attention ( if you have not already) There are creams they can provide you with that can be helpfull, I also wear non stick gauge pads against my breast and write down any other conserns / symptoms that you might have. You body has been through a lot and healing takes time and that time is different for everyone. Hang in there kiddo. Oh and if wearing a bra causes discomfort I wear a cami with a built in shelf its just simple elastic but it eases the pain/ discomfort there isn,t a lot of support but the girls don,t hang either!
