Prosthesis and lining of bra moving towards centre

Don't know whether anyone else has had this trouble but I have been trying to sort it out for over a year now.  Breast Care Nurse suggested being fitted for bra (was originally advised to get same size as I normally wore).  I did this (got 2 bras which cost me almost £80) in a size larger and one cup size smaller, but unfortunately I still have the same problem - I give up! - unless someone has any ideas.

    My prosthesis and bra move INWARDS not upwards - hence the lining and sometimes prosthesis show through about 1" in the centre - so always have to keep watching neckline etc. to see what is happening.

    My problem is not with it moving upwards but SIDEWAYS towards the centre - then it shows the lining and prosthesis as they both move - so have to keep watching - depending on what neckline I have - so am now trying to wear tops etc. with high necks.

    I know you are talking about side movement - hence the suggestion to put a tuck (running vertically) in the lining so that there would not be so much of it to allow side to side movement. There may be too much of the lining or it is too stretchy.

    Have you gone back to where you were fitted to discuss the issue. Perhaps they can work with you on it?!

    Mine always try to move around to my sides...under my armpits...I just keep adjusting. I figured it was because I don't wear them often, so I don't know the learning curve.

    the best bra I found recently was a USA Pro sports bra which had pockets for padding- because the pockets are not too deep it kept both the prophesies in place.
