neck lymph nodes after dcis and radiation

I finished my 33 rounds of radiation on April 23rd, yesterday when I went in for my Tamoxifen checkup ( all the blood work and my levels are where they need to be) I told the Dr. my neck and ear was hurting, he did not look at my ear but felt around on my neck, and told me to take a baby aspirin every day. When I got home they called and said he would like for me to have an ultrasound done on the soft tissue of my neck because my lymph nodes are enlarged. Has anyone had this issue???

    I had lymphnodes that were enlarged on my neck, the surgeon said that since they were on the opposite side from my cancer it would be unlikely that it was cancer. Later it turned out that I had a rash on my scalp near my ear, once I treated it with steroids the lymphnodes disappeared. I hope yours turn out to be nothing worrisome.
