Go Labelle! Yoga is wonderful. Maybe you can find a gentle yoga class near you. I also walk the treadmill at Planet Fitness when I can't walk outside. It is only $10 a month!!

been afraid to do mild yoga because of the implants. have you had your exchange yet? how was it? kindof nervous of the surgery. Been afraid to take a bath because of getting out of thetub. Did you take a bath with the extenders in? what kind of bra did you were afterwards?

I'm managing 20-30 minutes of yoga with my CD two-three times a week (I really like it-all the breathing stuff is relaxing and calming) and have gotten of my butt to take a couple of 20 minutes walks this week as well-the weather here is finally getting better. I know it's not enough, but something is better than nothing, right?
Sorry, I know nothing about extenders and exercise, but I've been doing the yoga even with a hole in my breast (abscessed seroma during RADs) and I just skip any poses that are uncomfortable for now. Maybe when I heal more I'll look for a class, but for now the privacy of my home is going to have to do.

Ok so here I am 3 weeks out from rads. Been a slug since Thanksgiving exept for 15 min. of Taichi occasionally! Tried doing 15 minutes of walking this week and it wipes me out. Also everything hurts. Legs, knees, hips and I limp like a 90yr old. I was in great shape for a 70+ yr old before BC. Diagnosed last July. 2 surgeries, 5 months of chemo and 6 weeks of rads has done me in. I hope and pray that as I force myself to get moving I'll have more energy and the pain and stiffness will lessen. Go girls, you can do it. Any movement is better than none. Love, Jean

I'm new to this board and had stopped exercising during the last part of radiation treatment - to irritated and sore, and sweat amplified discomfort. I was walking about 4 miles a day and some biking. Haven't done anything for 4 weeks.
I thought my baby step might be walking 1 mile in the morning. Even then I'm afraid I might get out there and not feel so good through it.

Popsie, go slow, slow slow. Also avoid walking when it's hot out. Rads does a number on us for sure. You will recover but it takes time. Love, Jean
