Recurrence

I had bilateral breast cancer which was diagnosed about a year and half ago. The cancer was invasive on one side with lymph node involvement. I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction followed by chemo. I have an extremely rare genetic cancer disorder called li fraumeni syndrome that I found out about after I was diagnosed. I now have a lump in the right breast. My oncologist checked it a few weeks ago and is worried. She wanted to watch it for a month because of the implants it is hard to tell what is what. I don't think it is part of the implant from the feel of it. My chemo was stopped in August (definitely not my choice- doctor's decision) because of some significant neurological side effects so I didn't complete the whole round. Radiation was started but had to be stopped because of the genetic disorder which does not allow for radiation except as a last resort. I think the next step is an ultrasound. Because of the genetic disorder and the high grade of the original tumors, I am extremely worried. My chance for recurrence is very high. I was hoping someone who has been through recurrence or the fear of recurrence might have some words of wisdom. I am not in full panic mode, but I am scared.
