I had routine CT/bone scans on 7/26. Came back with an area of concern on the sternum. This area has been there all along, a canoe fell on it once, so the uptake was attributed to previous trauma. In a weak moment I googled my mother. Sometimes it feels so far away and so long ago, such a loss to the universe that I should be the only one who remembers her. Her amazing stories, wonderful meals, kind words, and warm hugs. Somehow, however, I happened upon this site and its innumerable numbers of references to "Alaska Deb".
