Has anyone else been watching this? I'm a bit skeptical about the surgeon giving the daughter with the breast cancer legacy assurances based on feel when she was having implant surgery - but who am I to know? Any thoughts on this? The leeches were really interesting though.

    I think the leeches were only for shock value, I have not seen anyone on these boards get leeches when their flap fails or nipple dies. But the feeling is used in BC surgery too, healthy breast tissue feels a certain way and cancer apparently feels different. There was a study too about feeling if margins are clear or something similar.
