DETOX
After my battle with cancer and all the treatments AND two years of digging into Functional medicine, trying to figure out why some people get it and some dont one dominant answer is: TOXINS. Either being enviromental, medications, cleaning products or food i believe that is what accumulates in bodies and mutates the genes. I think that mineral defficiencies also are the culprit. I have researched for 2 years and found 1005 organic, 1005 green practice manufacturer of detox products that i use. ( they have supplements, articles, videos) I just wanted to share that after being a nurse for 15 years, having cancer and beating it - i trust them. please explore and share!!!!!!!!

I believe that this is a market that one needs to enter cautiously. We have breast cancer, we're scared. For some people their first reaction to this news is to get all the bad stuff out of your body, but this is not a DIY project and one could very quickly be parted with her money and further worsen her health if she jumps in too quickly. Some things need to be done in the proper order and you can't know what that is till you've read and read and read some more and/or consulted a holistic doc. I jumped right in and started taking more minerals and supplements when I got my dx and found out that I had gotten imbalanced from doing that and I had only taken them a few weeks. Some people don't know that you can OD on potassium either. Another thing that can be dangerous with detox is that if you have mercury fillings and you take something that chelates mercury you can make yourself sicker. Things that chelate mercury are often found in these commercial detox products.
There are some simple low cost things anyone can do though--two that come to my mind are oil pulling and drinking a tablespoonful of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 3x/day. Get on some probiotics. So, we don't need no products. . . yet, because many detox products are cheap or free.

someone mentioned exercise awhile ago, I went on a hot heavy long walk today, what would have been an easy short walk a few years ago, but the years have passed 7 now I have a helper who drives me most places. today I got back here, hot & exhausted & ran our wondervul icy water on my arms, slept a bit & feel very much stronger as well as gotten stuff done I'd been putting off for too long. when I started out my badknee/hip hurt with every step.. at the end of the walk with the repeated impact, it no longer did/does
