    45 minutes pilates DVD.

The nice thing about a Fitbit-type gadget is that you can see where you are & set your goals from there....you aren't comparing yourself with anyone else, just yourself!

DH and I got a lot done out in the gardens today. DH built me a new raised bed out front, and I got our two beds out back cleaned up. Lots of exercise and things are looking better, too. :)

Hi all. No formal exercise today but lots of walking and pulling while running errands and removing the pool cover. Topped off the day with some laundry.

Wishing you the best Lilacblue. I agree with Ruth that you win just for being brave enough to try. Not sure what they will name the royal baby but can't wait to hear it has arrived. Such a beautiful family.

Happy Sunday and hugs to all.

Hi All. My friend and I went to the NC Zoo today. It's the largest walk through zoo in the world and it's GORGEOUS! The animals are in natural habitats. I came home and fast walked/ran late this evening. Lots of movement today!

Enjoyed catching up with all the posts!

I managed to get myself on the stationary bike, but I only stayed for about 6 minutes. I will try to do the half hour tomorrow after chemo sometime. There's no time to do it before hand. That might be something I need to take into consideration scheduling my appointments. I fixed a hose and chased a radio-controlled car when it went off the patio or got stuck in the grass.hehe. I think I need to go to sleep now.

LB you will be just fine, breathe.....  I think we've all done errands this weekend, I went shopping but nothing for our trip, I went with my friend who is getting married in two weeks to look for an outfit, they are eloping and she has an outfit but just wanted to see what was out there, we had a fun "girls day out".

Did Body Combat express and Grit Cardio this morning, it was a real effort to get to the gym as the OC Marathon was today and they had all the streets blocked off, even all the secret back ways but I had given myself some extra time so managed to get there just in time to start class.

    Cute kitties ruthbru!

Wonderland, NC zoo sounds amazing. Great way to get some walking in!

10-mile bike ride yesterday with crazy wind resistance. I wanted to cry heading south but coming back was heavenly 😉. Also did a 4 mile run/walk with my pup.

Today I ran 3 miles on the treadmill at work on my lunch break. Tired legs tonight. I feel a rest day coming on...

Realized I was so busy over the weekend that I hadn't heard about the birth of the royal baby. Not sure who is cuter, the new baby or Ruth's kitties.

No bootcamp tonight as the instructor had a family emergency so I came home and finished opening the pool for the season. Spent an hour just sweeping all the little helicopter leaves from the pool deck area. Now to finish the laundry and get to bed.Good night all.

Off day for me today, I've had an itchy scratchy eye for a week and today there is a burst blood vessel so didn't want to do anything to agrivate it. How lovely that your kitties like to snuggle together Ruth. LB I don't know your DH but I love him

No formal exercise today. My first day back at work since RADs meltdown. Very tired. Silver lining I got in over 5000k steps at work - big smile. So hopefullyI will see those fit it fireworks more often. Hoping my excercise and walking stay as consistent now that I am back at work.

Ruth, The kitties are so cute

My PT gave me the ok to do Zumba tonight. I forgot to tell her I already went last Saturday. She stuck 4 needles on trigger points on my neck for me to have on 24/7. This will be interesting.

She asked me if I ever had lymphedema. I told her not really, only temporary swelling that went down after massaging (lymph drainage). I told her I took up progressive weight training coupled with prophylactic lymph drainage 7 years ago. She was surprised and said that was exactly what I needed to do and they are only now thinking of doing such a program. She added that it's still not a guarantee.

I checked the stats on my android app and saw that I'm in the top 0.4% of pedometer users in the world. And this doesn't even count pedalling a bike. My current ranking is 139,904th. Yesterday was about 12,000 steps.

Do any of you engage in the fitbit challenges? Of course I won't be any competition now, but I'll try.

Cardio Sculpt class this morning. This afternoon DH & I threw caution to the wind by cleaning the deck & putting deck furniture out AND making the switch to rakes in the garage & shovels in the storage shed. In one hour I have to go over to the county museum and help clean there before it reopens for the season.....yuck!

5/5- nice two hour stint at the gym tonight. One hour of resistance training, 20 laps in the pool, and then a soak in the hot tub (ahh....)

HB Cheryl-sorry about your eye. I hope that heals quickly.

Ruth- those cats are adorable. They look like they could be half grown kittens?

And yes, new Princes Charlotte of Cambridge is a very pretty baby. Looks a bit like the mama!
