A bit terrified
so long and short, after everything ... Arranged surgical biopsy etc, the MRI guided was not successful. So I got a call and they want me to come in tomorrow. Bad thing I finally got hold of my image reports and I'm now worried. I don't have the report from yesterday, will have later tomorrow after visits.im terrified.

JM - So sorry you're going through that kind of stress!! It sounds like your doctor(s) are on top of it in getting you back in immediately. It's incredibly scary to have information like image reports but not the final diagnosis. For now, try to breathe. You really won't know anything until you go through the process and get the final results. For now, concentrate on having a good surgical biopsy, and take it one moment at a time if you can. {{{HUGS}}}

I'm still in a limbo. I think because they could not get the biopsy, they have to wait for surgical biopsy. Yesterday they were hunting around for the clip placed. Could not find so before surgical biopsy I have to have wires inserted to directed the surgeon to the spots. Not happy. Im not sure i have all the the data yet And dont understand washout kinetic.

JMo33 - I completely understand being worried and in limbo. Wish you didn't have to go through that, including more waiting. If you can, see if you can communicate as clearly as possible with the doctor. Take notes it you can - when the docs say things to me, I tend to forget when they start using scary words like "lesion", "biopsy", and now "surgery". And even though I have a copy of my doctor's notes, I don't understand them all, nor am I going to try to decipher the medical jargon. BTW, I'll have to have a wire-guided surgical excision as well. Hopefully, you'll know your dates and doctor's plans, and that knowledge will give you a little more security! Continued good luck being sent your way!!

Hope you get your answers soon and even more so that they're good news!

I think I have all the info....and they really need to biopsy that one spot....they can reach. It had high kinetic Washout. I did not question this more because they have no idea what it is yet. My thought is, they have told me what I need to know....and it would be guessing until they know. They don't want to tell me something it's not I'm sure. It's just frustrating. And I reread reports and now I'm focused on that term and location. My ALH area I think will be ok, they are removing that too. This one 6mm thing has so many unknowns and being difficult. I have really dense breast too so thats does not help...full cysts. When is your surgery? Mines is in two weeks.

well had the open biopsy. They could only do one area as that stupid marker would not show for the imaging to get the right spot. They needed two different views could only get one. The other area is gone. I'm now sitting trying to decide if I should just go with extra strength tylonyal or the script they gave me.
Next week in post op meeting will discuss options for the difficult spot.

It's not exactly perfect, but at least it's forward motion! Continued good wishes being sent your way!

thank you.
