Unfortunately, it's cancer. Invasive ductal carcinoma, grade 3. Small focus of high grade DCIS and lymphvascular invasion. Preliminarily believed to be triple negative.

I have a whirlwind of appointments upcoming. MRI, meet with the surgeon, meet for a day with the multidisciplinary breast clinic team, etc.

    So sorry for this news especially since you have been through it all before. I am wishing an easy ride through treatment for you. Come here often to vent if you feel the urge. There's lots of compassion on this site. Take care of yourself.

    So sorry to hear that you have to face cancer again. It is a whirlwind of appointments. Take someone with you - that second set of ears always helps. We are here for you.

    Kaleidoscope, I'm here if you ever want to talk or vent. I hope you have a breast surgeon and team of doctors you feel good about? The women who've been through it are a wealth of knowledge and there's so much commraderie here, made me feel good reading the posts when I was scared.
