Exercise for me today was bootcamp.
-
4/23- wonderful hour and 20 min yoga class at the gym tonight. I really needed that.
What music festival are the BCO gals at?
-
Fabulous picture, so happy together . LB eeeekkkkk now that you've deunk the Kool Aid are you going to go to One Live London, I think it's early June, Jackie Mills is going to be one of the Body Balance presenters, I am going to One Live Chicago in August - one tribe Has anyone heard from Mary? Not like her not to check in
Tonight did Body Pump and Grit Cardio.
Edited to add: I believe I am an exercise junkie, this afternoon a friend called me to invite me to the Newport Beach Film Festival to see the new Russell Crow movie, I considered it to a few seconds but then told her no I had committed to going to the gym!!!!!
-
Nice photo of Wonderland and Badger at the concert. Looks like they had perfect weather.
40 minute walk today. I have not been back to yoga :-(. Will do my best next week.
-
Was going to walk down to Dunkin' Donuts but hubby said wait til next week.
-
What a great photo! Love it.

Walked to and from an appt for an echo today, so probably about 1.5 miles or so total.
-
Well, my toe is still really sore and so I've been limping which has made my calf muscle really sore. So, for exercise all I've been doing is getting on my bike to nowhere (A Kaiser Spin bike) and then using my TRX or weights. I'm hoping it'll be better by next week. The weather has been cold and crummy so I haven't missed the outdoor workouts....too much.
Looks like everyone else is right on top of their game. I'm glad to have found this forum!
-
We are glad you found this forum too, Evilm. It kind of makes you at least something, even if you actually have a good excuse not to, doesn't it?!
I had a sub gig at 11:00 so was able to do my 9:00am yoga before zipping over to the school. I am going to do 30 minutes of 'something' right now (recall that I was sick for 2 days so have makeup work to do......I am a pretty strict boss to myself
). -
4/24- nice 1 hour session with my personal trainer today (only one left after this before she leaves to move to the west coast, sob!) Learned some more TRX exercises!
-
Walked 30 minutes.
Another picture from Badger & Wonderland who are at MerleFest in Wlkesboro North Carolina.

-
20 min post chemo slug stroll, 30 min brisk walk pre chemo!
-
30 minute incline walk on the treadmill today after work.
-
Heard the VOICES and got my butt out there for a 5k run. Gorgeous evening made even better by snow on the mountains. Just amazing as I rounded the turn back to my place. A bit chilly, but wonderful scents in the air. Think lilacs and sumac.
Reward is dinner of brats, red cabbage, asparagus (don't ask about this combination), potato and good wine. Catching up with my guy in a few. Life is good. - Claire

Cheryl, just may make the London LM event. Good times are being had with Badger & Wonderland! London Marathon tomorrow and although I won't be in London to watch it, I am heading into London Sunday evening - taken by DH to see Status Quo uplugged at Hammersmith Apollo. It's a gift from last Christmas and since living in the UK, I've always wanted to see Quo live and finally will have the opportunity.
Forgot to post last night - Friday morning at the gym - freestyle step and body balance.
-
4/25- met with the personal trainer yesterday for an hour to do more advanced exercises for abs and chest areas. Doing more with the TRX too before we wrap up in a few more weeks. Today, I think I may go for a swim at the gym later in the day......
-
Did an hour of spot toning with Denise Austin....I complained all the way through, but she didn't seem to care!
-
LB if you do go to London let me know one of the girls I Jam with is going to London and she has her ticket maybe you could meet up, and I recommend going these events are simply amazing.
This morning I did Grit Cardio, Body Pump Express and Body Combat, told the instructor I would probably only do half the Combat class but I managed to stay the entire hour, puddle of liquid awesome left on the floor.
-
Yesterday 35 mins of incline on treadmill and nice 15 min leisurely walk.
Today 90 mins of yoga and will do 30 min walk with DH later this evening .
The stamina is slowly coming back! Yay!
-
35 minutes of just walking for me today. I know it's good for me physically, but I think I really need it mentally too. I'm in such a funk these days. I feel like my daughter and my husband have these rich, interesting lives, and then there's me. Woe is me... ha. Something for me to reflect on and figure out.
-
Come to Oceanside & we will make your life more interesting!!!!

-
Ha ha, I just emailed you about that...
-
The voices in my head are telling me to jog...but the neulasta flue is telling me to stroll....can I split the difference and do the pimp limp? 😊
-
Moving is moving in my book!
-
Hope to see you Cassie. Littleblue, do what your body tells you. The voices on this thread are verrrrrrrryyyyyyyy pushy! (they mean well). Lots of walking around packing/cleaning the garage and downstairs closets. Mostly done. Just have to hit closets upstairs and then odds and ends. What doesn't jump into a box, get donated or picked up by friends by the time 1-800-GETJUNK gets here in 2 weeks is history. Can't wait for it to be over. Really need that downtime in CA!
-
(((CassieCat))) May The Funk leave you.
Littleblue: May the "Neulasta Flu" leave you soon.
lady: Yea for you stamina coming around!
Cheryl: Way to go! And yes, I also wonder where Nats is.
Patoo: Packing is NOT fun!
Ruth: Hope you're feeling better. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Hi All! Badger and I had a GREAT time at MerleFest! I l left this morning and she's still there. It's a 4 day festival which started on Thursday. I had tickets for 2 days and Badger had 4 day tickets. The weather Thursday and Friday was gorgeous. It started lightly raining this morning. My dh and ds were also there. They stayed through today and said the rain (drizzle) wasn't too bad. Hope Badger and her friend are still having a great time! The music was unbelievable - just fabulous! But as good as the music was (and it was beyond good), the best part was seeing Badger again!!!
-
Walked about 4.5 miles today
-
4/25- feeling low energy today so I just did a 25 min home yoga practice at the end of the day. I hope to have my mojo back to get to the gym tomorrow.
-
I just marked my 2nd million steps for 2015!! time to start the next million!!! I love walking!
-
I am so excited I clocked a little over 11,200 steps today! Woot! Woot! Tomorrow may be a different story. LoL -- my body may rebel like it did the last time I hit 11k+ steps.
-
I will get a fitbit when I am in the U.S. in July. l get envious when I see you all reaching your goals. I can't stand not knowing how many steps I've taken ;-). Did 40 min. hill walk this morning.
