Hi everyone, first I'd like to say that I can't tell you how much better I felt after finding this community online. I have a tremendous amount of support at home but finding a community like this where women are going through the exact thing I'm about to embark on makes the journey a little less scary.

I'm 36 mother of 4 and I found a lump in my left breast in early March. I know my body and it just didn't feel right. Went in today for an Ultrasound and Mammogram and doctor said that the mass is "highly suspicious" and that my lymph nodes on left side are also highly suspicious. Overall Birad score of 5. They sent my report to surgeon and that office called me same day to schedule biopsy and consult. My appt is on Monday at 9am. I'm freaking out. How did you cope? Hugs and prayers my way please! Xox

hi and welcome! I am fairly new here and everyone has been wonderful. You have every right to freak out, but it won't help anything. The wheels are in motion, try to find solace in that. Enjoy your children. Thinking of you!

Hi ymcag11 - I understand what you are going through. It's tough to hear those types of words and not be worried and stressed for yourself. It sounds like they are moving you to the next step quickly, and that's a good thing. The best thing you can do is to breathe and take things one thing at a time - whether that's one breath, one day, one hour, or even on minute. On Monday, you will know more.

But know that there are lots of us who know exactly what you are going through. I didn't stop stressing out until I got my core needle biopsy results this past week and know what we're dealing with now (and I have more to go with an excision). I listened to some binary beats/music, binge-watched shows (and learned to love Empire), and drank tea. I think maxdog is right on the money - spend time with your kids! And when you need some extra hugs, come here!!! Good luck and keep us posted!!
