Red lumpectomy area....

Hi everyone......we have been wintering in AZ for a couple of moths. I go to the pool for excercise almost every day. I noticed the scar from my lumpectomy was starting to slightly itch and when I looked at it it was pink around it, about the size of a quarter. I have always had an issue with hard scar tissue. I am 7 years out. Has anyone experienced this or think the chlorine can affect the area? My skin does seem sensitive in other areas as well but of course with BC in the past, I'm always looking over that shoulder.
