Mjh, does the left hand count?!?! Well, i mean, i know it does if you only have one, but i mean, is it acceptable for swearing with? it IS bar sinistre after all. from one who is left handed.. We go to the beach shack every chance we get, its only about an hour and a half away... thats you on the beach in your avatar, right?
Poppy, yay for getting the port out! you will begin to feel less like a patient, more like your self.
i am home now, thanks for the laugh!
-
The floors are stunning - maybe this is God's way of telling you to slow down and appreciate your hard work! So, my office is taking me out for $1 beer(s)? to celebrate the end of treatment, for now. I hope I can stop after one...........................................
-
But why would you want to stop at one?
-
Alyson, are you okay??
-
mjh....I just read your post. hahahahaha.
-
- If you are like me right now, you will not stop at one! Thank you guys, that's the tomboy in me that does these kinds of things I hung around my father's workshop! Mj that is embarrassing and something that would happened to me! Poppy I'm glad for you!! Oh goodness! This is going to get crazy, as the fumes are strong! My friend just delivered pizza to me!
-
got to drive home...... or leave my car down town and call my 25 year old, or my 18 year old, or a cab, or my husband. And I have to work tomorrow..... believe me, I am afraid this could be a binge.....
Just kidding~!
-
Raise your right arm............no right arm.............LMAO..........and I thought it was your right hand.............LOL
-
tomboy - yes, you may use the left if you don't have a right and yes, that is me in the avatar a couple of years back pre-BC and in my darker hair color phase.
ducky - yes, I do say raise your right hand. Well, that certainly was a lesson to look at the witness as I swear them in. Either I've been doing this way too long (18 years) or it's still the cancer brain. Still can't believe that happened.,,lol
-
FK - where are you?? how did dr go??
-
-
Hey Rak are your eight hours up? and did you succumb to the fumes? -
Feeling a bit down today, plus having a migraine that won't go away even though I took something for it doesn't help.
-
Yooooo Hoooooo.........Kracker?????? Where are you????? Don't make me get out the milk carton!! How did your Dr. appointment go? Thinking of you and hope you're feeling better!!
RAK.....this one is for you. Might think about this the next time you decide to do your floors......
Mommy....I've got two for you.
and this one.....
It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Beppy! it's your special smiley!
-
I know!! ツ
Good to see you Tomboy!!
-
oh my gosh - that is so funny. Were you just joyfully waving at people as they were honking at you to pick up your stuff?
-
TOMboyDid the man without an arm have a good sense of humor?
and by the way, r they paying you enough to do a body check? -
just kidding - I read the posts and sometimes, I guess I do it out of order, so I could not figure out what the right arm, left arm thing was about.
-
Mommy.. Hope you're feeling better. ((hugs))
FK.. Hope everything went O.K at the doctors.
Slow.. Yep..Where is she.?? I do think it's time for you to get that milk carton out !!
-
I definitely want to throw the chemo port into the fire.... but I was grateful to have it because the Taxotere felt like lava when it went into the vein in my arm prior to be able to use the port. My hair is about an inch to an inch and a half long, but is a different color and curlier than poodle hair. But, at least I don't have any bald spots.
I haven't been posting much lately because of all of the problems I've been having with my 17 year old son. Really been emotionally draining. Also I've been taking him to treatment 3 times a week after school. It's a family program, so they also have parent education sessions as well as sessions with the parents and kids. Unfortunately, my son has been asked to leave the program because he is not working the program to the level they require. What a kid should do in one day, my son doesn't do at all or drags out for a week. When they ask him questions, he answers "I don't know". So after 2 months of this, he's kicked from the program. Crap. I don't know what's going to happen now, but they are trying to help us find a therapist for him.
It's rough when you are going through breast cancer treatment and the hardest thing gong on in your life is your son's mental health situation.
If one more acquaintance asks me if I had a mastectomy can I throw them into the bonfire?
-
I'm still here! Lol thanks for the mask. I wish I would have had it then. 😊 I am going to be a grandma!
-
Considering the fact that you're a true grandmother-to be, I'd like to make a toast, "Here's to living well way beyond the new baby's birth!"
Pease raise your beverage of choice today (whatever it is
), to health, wealth, and happiness to all grandmas and grandmas-to-be!
CHEERS!!!!
-
kathy7 - the right arm/left arm was when I was at work and not paying attention in looking at the witness when I went to swear him in and told him to raise his right hand and he had no right hand/arm. AWKWARD!!
rak - yippee, I see that little jellybean!!
poppyk - it's awful that you have to deal with your son's mental health issues on top of your own BC issues. I hope you will be able to find a therapist that can truly help him. he's lucky to have you as his mom because I know you won't give up until he gets the help that he needs.
do we need to send the search party for FK???
-
Poppy, sending you great big hugs! We are all here to listen when you need us. (((((poppy))))
