Snow around the west I hear! I saw pics from a friend in Wyoming and heard Chevy has the white stuff. Colder in NM but no precip here yet, although rumors of snow for the mountains.

I made myself a home made sugar free root beer float today!

Now I've never sued anyone, even though I may have had grounds to sue. But I do know(almost) what's suit worthy.  Walgreens enters into the state data base that a consumer has been turned down. The next pharmacists checks and see's that the consumer has been turned down. The red flag goes up. They deny the consumer b/c they perceive the consumer is drug seeking, and that's entered into the consumers record. Red flag. Then the next pharmacist turns the consumer down. It's a domino effect. Soon the consumer is effectively blackballed by the state system b/c per the state record, there are repeated entries for denial.

The importance of the exposure of this by the ex-employee is lawyers are going to jump all over this. Soon we will be hearing of a Class Action Suit. GOOD. Blondie has been subjected to it. So, has Bon. I've read here of others. There was a thread last year on the topic. A stage IV gal wanted to know who else was experiencing the same thing. Her story was identical to what Blondie told us that she went through trying to get her pain meds refilled. The cat's out of the bag now.

Walgreen's may have had to pay 80 million to the government. The first class action will be equal or more. I think I'll just C&P this with Mags link and start a thread.

Sass! Ain't no-body no-where! I saw the new topic, but man, I couldn't contribute anything to it if I tried....

I don't have any problems, and when I do, I try and figure them out as best as I can.... and that means figuring out what ELSE I can do when current meds aren't helping..

I don't have any problems with anyone, and so that means I don't have anything to contribute.... probably.

On another note.... Still cold here! They say snow again today.... The snow from YESTERDAY is still out there! I'm not taking my car out, if it will get messy... Ha!

    So we are staying IN!

Mammaray- I think it is awesome you are getting out to do those steps, finding that maybe it is hard sometimes, but that you are letting go of any judging of yourself. Trying to move your body some every day does help you. We all have to figure out what we can do and how much too.

Are you doing anything beside the steps? Walking? Swimming? Yoga? I find that if a particular thing feels too difficult on some days, I find another thing to do.

There is a post your Post Daily Exercise Thread here if you want to join us there too. Lots of nice ladies there to talk about exercise with and share our challenges around too. Join us if you would like!

Hey Sassy, I'm just now seeing your post about the new thread. I have been down most of the past two days despite my internal admonitions to suck it up and do something. I started the arimidex last week and it may be that, all the joints that normally hurt (lumbar, shoulders, knees) are screaming, and now the knuckles are chiming in. I've been so fortunate to not have my mother's arthritic hands, and now... I've had to take half a tab of oxy a few times, that article scared the snot out of me about becoming dependent on them again.

But I have got to get some laundry done, running out of even my holey-est undies. (No, autocorrect, they are not holiest!)

Hi Mags, sounds like you are doing it today! Motivation has been on the back burner for me lately, and have laundry to do myself. Either that or I have to shop for more clothes! I would hate to go shopping commando for more undies.............but I will if I have to :)

Mags- if your SEs are bad and interfering with your quality of life, let your MO know. They may need to change which one you are on. I had a good 6 months of challenges on it, my body finally got used to it. The worst were my feet that were so stiff I could hardly walk. They may want you to give a month or so on it to see what happens, as it is cumulative. The AIs have been the hardest part for me, but knowing what you went through with chemo and rads, I know very well you are not up for any more pain.

Arimidex can definitely affect your mood too. But know you have been through a lot this past year and that you are still dealing with all the emotions from it. I know I was numb going through my treatment, a lot settled in for me later that I had to process about everything I went through. I still do sometimes too.

Don't hesitate to get some counseling support if you need it too. This whole thing we deal here with it very hard.

Thanks Jazzy. Oddly enough I passed my 1st anniversary of official dx yesterday without even noticing.

Fortunately I have so many clothes I can go like six weeks without laundry. My cousin (bless her heart!)has been doing it for me, but she is so busy with her volunteer work that she hasn't offered, and I hated to add one more thing to her plate. I know she'd happily do it, but I waited until I knew she'd be gone most of the day. One load in, another ready, and I may stop there for now. Since I rarely go anywhere, it's mostly undies, tshirts and leggings. Thankfully no more bras

Mommy- feel better. The only thing I can do for migraines when they do happen (rare for me) is to go to bed. Can you rest today and get some sleep?

Mags- well, I am glad you cruised through the DX anniversary without noticing. No reason to focus on that, time to look ahead. I hope you get all that laundry done. I have lots of stuff too and can easily go for a month without doing laundry until one day, I have no clean underpants!

I am craving summer foods. Yesterday it was the root beer float, today I had to have a hot dog of sorts. Been craving one of those all week and instead of getting hot dogs, I got some sausages like chiptole and cheddar and did it up with sauerkraut and all the rest. I wonder what I will crave next?

glad to hear you are feeling better Mommy. Usually a nap helps take care of the migraine for me too. Just noticed you are getting an exchage on the 22nd. Best wishes.

What is wrong with you people??? I'm gone one day and already I've missed so much that I'm all screwed up! O wait, I'm pretty screwed up anyway. Please be patient with me on the days I don't take my meds.

Some of you know that I just finished treatment AGAIN (stupid TNBC) and had gallbladder surgery. Well, I have been afraid to look in the mirror because the chemo-face was pretty scary. Anyway, I went to a friend of mine who is a makeup artist. She is a WIZARD!! She got rid of the big fat red carboplatin/gemzar bags under my eyes plus other unwanted ugly things.

I won't show you a before picture because I think there is already one on this thread thanks to Miss Spookie. Here's the after.

Cripes that's big! Of course my head is kinda big anyway. Hush Chevy.

And there you are.... all prettified! Good Job girl!

It's been a good couple days thrifting and searching.  13 glasses---7 water, 6 wine---10$. On replacement.com water 26$ and wine's  22$. Hand blown glass. Delicate as their name. Rainbow by Toscany. Sparkly.
